Jolene making her debut on television's Veronica's Closet, she was quickly cast in the made for television movies Jason and the Argonauts and On the Edge. After almost rejecting it, she accepted the role of T'pol on Enterprise for which she is best known. Take a look around, enjoy your stay, and come back soon!
Jolene was born in San Diego, California (USA), March 5th, 1975. Currently Los Angeles is where Jolene calls home. As you know, Jolene has many talents outside of the acting industry. Her father introduced her to the waves as a young girl living near a beach and a surfer was born. She's been a surfer her whole life and enjoys many other physical forms of recreation including skateboarding, Thai-boxing, rollerskating and snowboarding. Her hobbies also include teaching herself the finer points of photography.
Jolene's television debut was in 1998 during an episode of Veronica's Closet, a humorous half-hour sitcom mocking the inner workings of a lingerie empire. The show stars Kirstie Alley who coincidentally was the Vulcan Lt. Saavik in the second Star Trek movie. Jolene's minor role as Woman #3 appeared in the episode "Veronica's Breast Efforts" where the company faces a lawsuit over a sports bra. Jolene's acting frequency has increased steadily since 1998. Her latest pre-Star Trek television role was on the popular CBS military drama, JAG. The series is about a Lieutenant-Commander Naval officer in the Judge Advocate General Corps, which investigates, defends, and prosecutes the laws of the sea. In the episode "Touch and Go" an admiral's past improper sexual conduct is revealed in the media. Jolene played Corporal Lisa Antoon.
Between jobs on TV shows in 2000, Jolene made her first appearance in a made for television mini-series when she portrayed Medea in Jason and the Argonauts. Her beauty proliferated on screen as the Greek sorceress. Jolene hit the big time when she was cast as Subcommander T'Pol in the installment of the Star Trek franchise, Enterprise. With the success that Jeri Ryan brought to the show as Seven of Nine, Jolene is sure to make every man a Trekker. The part forces her to wear pointy devil ears, a wig and a catsuit (yes!), and incidentally, she was going to turn down the role at first. Jolene will next appear in the made-for-TV movie, On the Edge, along with Alyssa Milano, as well as the miniseries, Diamond Hunters.
